Whiffin Spit

About

Whiffin Spit is situated between Sooke Harbour and the Juan de Fuca Strait and offers a scenic coastal walk along the shoreline. The area is popular with dog walkers and nature enthusiasts as wildlife such as shorebirds and sea lions can often be spotted during your walk.

After enjoying your catamaran sailing or walk you can have a cup of coffee or get a nice lunch or dinner at Sooke Harbour House.

Parking

Parking lot is close to the beach from where we start and finish the Topcat catamaran sailing experience.

Water, beaches, toilet

Drinking water is available on site.

Dog friendly beaches

There are porta-potties next to the Whiffin Spit parking lot. There is also an outhouse near the end of the trail, just off to the side.
